Our CEO, Scott Moorehead, was just named on Indiana Business Journal’s Indiana 250 list! This list selects the most influential leaders living in Indiana making a difference in business, philanthropy, and community.
Scott Moorehead has served as the CEO for Round Room and its subsidiary companies, including TCC, Wireless Zone, Redux and Culture of Good, for the past 15 years. The impact Scott has made on the technology and wireless industry, as well as in building culture and leadership solutions in Indiana and across the nation, has been immense. With its 1,233 TCC and Wireless Zone® retailer stores across 43 states, Round Room is one of the largest Verizon Authorized Retailers in the U.S. located in Fishers, Indiana.
While in 43 states, Round Room has a significant presence in its home state, employing nearly 500 people in Indiana alone. According to Round Room growth statistics, over half a million people in Indiana have purchased a Verizon phone in a TCC or Wireless Zone® store, showcasing the influence Scott and his company have on how Hoosiers stay connected with their families and networks. Scott intends to continue to grow the influence of Round Room as well, and beyond just the wireless retail industry, expanding on the groundwork built by his family.
Personally, Scott’s involvement inside the philanthropic world revolves around several organizations. He co-founded The Moorehead Family Foundation, which has evolved into what is now called TCC Gives. To date, this philanthropic arm of TCC has given away over $4 million. He also founded The Culture of Good as the first certified Benefit Corporation (B-Corp) in the state of Indiana. He and his COG partner, Ryan McCarty, co-authored a book titled, ‘Build A Culture of Good.’ He has held multiple nonprofit board of director positions donating both time and treasure to make the world a better place.
Scott is a recognized thought leader and subject-matter expert in what it takes to create and develop a purposeful for-profit organization that abides by the philosophy of doing well by doing good.
